Scanner Cleaning

When a scanner becomes dirty, the images the scanner prints may not come out correctly and instead the images may contain distortions.

To clean the surface of the scanner, it’s best to use window cleaner. Since one should never directly spray a liquid into any part of the computer, one should spray the window cleaner onto a cotton cloth or paper town and wipe the glass of the scanner. Remember, make sure the scanner is unplugged before cleaning.
